FEATURE - OOO Life Stool

STORY

A solid stainless steel tool with a satisfying heft and a singular purpose. Inspired by an iconic typology, the simple but highly refined shape elevates this basic archetype from the mun- dane to the quietly remarkable.

Behind The Scenes

OOO's first piece of furniture is particularly simple yet versatile wooden stool with an ash frame and a woven seat in a choice of materials.

Designed by Nicol Boyd

The OOO Stool is inspired by an industrial typology still used in factories across Taiwan today. At its core is a high quality structural frame with a carefully designed geometry and proportions.

OPEN B SIDE

In the small dining room of the east-facing balcony, where no lights were turned on, the hostess appeared with a plate of golden needle flowers in hand. Lu Yi-an was originally the chief editor of a magazine and is now a freelance writer. In 2018, she compiled her daily cooking, tea-making, and photography into a book titled "One and a Half Autumn Mackerel." The writer herself is delicate-looking, with a ponytail resting on her shoulder, and wearing a light-colored cotton and linen dress.
